The FAS Impact Fellowship is a selective fellowship program that supports the development and placement of emerging scientific and technical talent within high-impact roles across the federal government. Individuals interested in serving as an FAS Impact Fellow can learn more about specific openings here.
The Policy Entrepreneurship Fellowship (PEF) empowers and guides participants to move their Day One Project policy proposals from idea to reality. During this six-month experience each PEF works as a part-time FAS affiliate to (i) help their specific ideas gain traction among practitioners and decision makers, and (ii) identify and pursue opportunities for impact in underlying policy areas of interest.
The Endless Frontier Fellowship offers exceptionally talented early-career individuals an opportunity to help design the future. Fellows spend an immersive year working in public policy at the forefront of science, technology and innovation as policy entrepreneurs embedded at either the Institute for Progress, the Federation of American Scientists, or the Lincoln Network.
The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship pays a salary for recent college and graduate school alumni to work with NGOs in Washington, DC, including FAS, on international peace and security issues for six to nine months.
