High-Skilled Immigration
The United States seeks to attract and retain the world’s top high-skilled technical and scientific talent in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. However, current high-skilled immigration policies are limiting the inflow of foreign talent, exacerbating shortages and reducing America’s ability to innovate and retain its competitive edge. FAS advocates for immigration policies that are more inclusive, flexible, and supportive of the needs of the technology sector and its workforce.
