Matthew S. Rosen, PhD, is a physicist and inventor focused on developing novel MRI tools. He leads the Low-Field MRI and Hyperpolarized Media Laboratory at the Martinos Center. His lab also explores innovative imaging strategies using machine learning techniques, including AUTOMAP. Dr. Rosen is an associate professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School, a fellow of multiple scientific societies, and a distinguished investigator. He co-directs the Center for Machine Learning and has founded five companies, including Hyperfine, the creator of the first portable MRI scanner.
