Krystal Jackson
Krystal Jackson is an Open Philanthropy Junior AI Fellow at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET). As part of CSET’s CyberAI project, she investigates how advances in artificial intelligence may alter cyber capabilities and operations. Her research interests include the impact and future direction of weaponized AI, governance strategies for reducing the risk from advanced technologies, and methods for value-sensitive design. Her goal is to conduct research that will inform the equitable and safe governance of emerging technologies. Krystal received her M.S. in Information Security Policy & Management (MSISPM) from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College.
