APHC condemns India for recent wave of violence in IHK

ISLAMABAD, Aug 3 (APP): The Convenor of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Azad Kashmir Chapter, Syed Yousaf Naseem has condemned India for recent wave of violence and killings in Indian Occupied Kashmir. These incidents are related to the last year’s killings of 22 persons including pundits at Gandarbal and the massacre of 39 Sikhs at Chatti Singhpura when US President Bill Clinton was in Delhi during his visit to South Asia, he told PTV Wednesday. Different organisations in their writings have mentioned that besides Border Security Force and Rashtriya Rifles, Indian army runs and uses another secret army for the massacres in the Occupied Kashmir, he said. "Their aim is to defame the Kashmir freedom movement by portraying it as a fundamentalist movement," Naseem added. He said, the massacre is an effort to malign Pakistan at a time when the meetings of United Nations Sub-commission on Human Rights are continuing in Geneva, Switzerland and world is pressuring India to come to the negotiating table on the Kashmir issue.
