Tomas Monarrez

Tomás Monarrez is Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education. He is trained as a labor economist with expertise in the economics of education and applied econometrics. His work studies the impact of public policies on inequality in socioeconomic outcomes in the US. Monarrez earned his doctoral degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
