Tiffany Chioma Anaebere, MD, is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and the Director of Special Projects and Curriculum Innovation at Dignity Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, CA. Dr. Anaebere is a health equity researcher and designs innovative educational programs and products for medical trainees that bridge historic gaps in medical education and employs holistic medical training to improve physician career satisfaction, work performance, and patient care. Her current focus areas include physician advocacy and workforce strengthening, health policy and systems design, community and population health, and career and financial education for medical trainees. Dr. Anaebere studied anthropology at Stanford University and received her medical degree from Duke University. She was a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and a Science & Technology policy fellow at the Aspen Institute’s Tech Policy Hub. She completed her Emergency Medicine training at Alameda Health System-Highland Hospital in Oakland, California and has authored several public-facing and peer-reviewed health publications. She is also the author of The Emergency Medicine Career Navigator, a career development guide for emergency medicine residents and early attending physicians.
