Sofia Bisogno is an Air Quality Scientist at PSE Healthy Energy. Her research focuses on modeling the air quality and public health impacts of the energy sector, including from oil and gas production, petroleum refining, and the energy transition. Under the Methane + Health Initiative, she led the launch of the Refinery Risk Map and is a product team lead for the Methane Risk Map. Prior to joining PSE, Bisogno worked as an Air Quality and Sustainability Consultant, conducting emissions inventories, health risk assessments, air dispersion modeling, and life cycle assessments for various clients in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. She holds a BSE from Princeton University in Civil and Environmental Engineering, where she focused on measuring and mapping real-time air quality data with the Princeton Atmospheric Chemistry Experiment and studied the life cycle greenhouse gas impacts from waste-to-energy landfills.
