Sabrina Roach brings more than two decades of organizing for media and technology that serves all of us. As principal and founder of Make Digital Equity, she is managing the build of a digital navigator layer in the social safety net with Workforce Development Council Seattle-King County, King County IT, Seattle IT, and 12 multilingual community based organizations. She also works for Washington State University Extension supporting communities that want broadband to plan for federal funds and design for digital equity. While at the National Digital Inclusion Alliance, she facilitated development of the original Digital Navigator model. She helped pass the first Washington State Digital Equity Act in 2022. Prior to her digital equity deep dive, she worked at public and community radio stations while organizing for media justice and policy reform.
