Margaret Smith

Margaret Smith is an Agricultural Marketing Specialist Impact Fellow with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. With over 12 years experience in regional food systems, Margaret applies expertise in food distribution, operations, and farmer technical assistance to build resilient infrastructure and markets that support producers and enhance community food access. Margaret is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and earned a Masters degree in Crop and Soil Environmental Science from Virginia Tech.
