Maithreyi Gopalan
Maithreyi Gopalan is an FAS impact fellow headed to the Department of Education post-residency. She is currently on leave from her position as an Assistant Professor of Education and Public Policy at Penn State. She completed her Ph.D. in Public Affairs at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, Bloomington. She conducts policy-relevant research examining the causes and consequences of racial/ethnic and socioeconomic disparities in education and health for children and adolescents. Prior to her doctoral training, her career was in data analytics in the financial industry both in India and London.
