Jan Jaro is an impact venture investor focused on climate, healthcare, and access to economic opportunity. Before that, Jan worked in private equity and with several mission-driven startups, including a silicon anode battery startup that recently won a Department of Energy grant to build its first facility in Flint, Michigan. In addition, Jan has been fortunate to serve on the 2022 campaign policy teams of Governors Maura Healey (Massachusetts), Josh Shapiro (Pennsylvania), and Wes Moore (Maryland). He is deeply interested in the intersection of innovation and inclusive economic growth that creates quality jobs and builds strong communities. Jan holds an MBA from the Wharton School, an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a B.S. in Engineering and Economics from Northwestern.
