Arjun is a Senior Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists, where he focuses on policy to deploy clean energy and accelerate innovation. Most recently, Arjun served in the Biden-Harris Administration as the Senior Policy Advisor for Clean Energy Infrastructure in the White House. In this role, he worked to secure and execute policies to address the climate crisis, create well-paying jobs, build domestic supply chains, and reduce energy costs. His work spanned tax policy, electricity regulation and investments, supply chain and manufacturing policy, and implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

Prior to the White House, Arjun was the Special Advisor to the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), where he worked on implementation, congressional strategy, long-term planning, clean energy permitting, and budget policy. Arjun also served on the policy team for the Biden-Harris transition team.

Arjun previously was the Climate Policy Lead for Innovation at NRDC, where he worked to advance strong federal policy to build an economy that works for all, promote clean energy innovation, and curb climate change. He also used modeling and analysis tools to study the effects of federal and state climate policies. He holds an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a B.S. in Environmental Systems Engineering from Stanford University.
