Anesha is a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University studying Information Systems and Management. She is the CEO and Founder of Likeable STEM, an educational company providing STEM education and technology training to all ages, races, genders, and financial backgrounds in a fun and interactive way. Anesha has received the NCWIT (National Center for Women and Information Technology) Impact Award, the SWE Global Innovator Honorable Mention Award, and the US Congressional Award for her work in STEM. Anesha also serves as a member of the FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education) Advocacy Advisory Committee and is actively involved in grassroots and congressional efforts, helping to pass S.578. In college, she is a lead mentor for Women in Information Systems and has partnered Likeable STEM with Carnegie Mellon University to start a series of virtual and in-person outreach initiatives for students in Pittsburgh Public Schools. She has received the Boeing Corporation Information Systems Leadership Scholarship and the Gelfand Student Educational Outreach Award for her work. Anesha hopes to provide ample opportunities for students, especially girls, to learn and acquire valuable skills, contribute to the community, and make their mark in the STEM field!
