Loully Saney is former Chief of Staff for the Day One Project. Prior to joining the Day One Project, she worked as Deputy Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Tim Kaine. As a congressional staffer, she participated in fellowships with the Wilson Center and Hoover Institution at Stanford University focused on foreign and economic policy. While still in college during President Barack Obama’s Administration, Loully interned at the White House National Economic Council, the Office of Science and Technology Policy, and the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Iranian Affairs. In 2015, Loully received a Certificate of Appreciation for contributions toward U.S. government efforts to reach a comprehensive nuclear deal with Iran. Loully is a graduate of Princeton University where she studied Politics and received a certificate in Near Eastern Studies and a certificate in History and the Practice of Diplomacy.
