International Day of Action – Sunday, May 2nd

May 2010 is a critical time for nuclear security. The Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference will be held at the United Nations from May 3rd to the 28th. Prior to the start of the Review Conference, an International Day of Action will take place this Sunday, May 2nd, in New York City.

FAS invites you to join thousands of other activists around the world in taking a stand against the use of nuclear weapons.

The day’s festivities will begin with a rally featuring speakers, performers, and international delegations. Following the rally, a march across town to the United Nations will take place, ending at the International Peace and Music Festival outside the U.N. in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza.
