The Federation of American Scientists (FAS) is pleased host the first-ever U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Philanthropy Partnership Summit from 9:30am–4:30pm on April 23, 2025 at NSF Headquarters in Alexandria, VA. This invitation-only event will unite philanthropic organizations and NSF leaders to address shared challenges and build impactful collaborations. The NSF Philanthropy Partnership Summit, powered by FAS, the Institute for Progress, and a network of philanthropic funders will convene philanthropic and NSF leaders to identify promising partnership models and co-create actionable partnership opportunities in areas of mutual interest.
About the Summit
The Summit will be an opportunity to actively participate in shaping future initiatives. At this convening, you will hear from NSF and philanthropic leaders about past successful partnership models, new models for engagement, and a “menu of engagement vehicles” to jointly fund high priority topics. Topically-focused breakout sessions will bring philanthropy’s creative ideas to the table for streamlining partnership approaches and co-creating wireframes of immediate partnership opportunities to be further explored beyond the Summit.
