Dr. Teresa Ann Bertossi is a Regional Outreach Coordinator Food Supply Chain Impact Fellow for the North Central Region (ND, SD, MN). The multi-year fellowship includes working with the Local and Regional Foods Division team within the USDA providing outreach and technical assistance support. With degrees in natural resources analysis and environmental management as well as sustainability Teresa works at the intersections of environmental justice, food systems, health, agriculture, regional economies and community engagement. She has experience with grant and project project management for the development and design of an accessible 2.5 acre urban farm; the economic development model for an affordable, small footprint grocery. Teresa also served in higher education for 12 years and directed outreach, education and research at the University of MN.
