Tamalika Mukherjee
Tamalika Mukherjee is a postdoctoral research scientist in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) at Columbia University. Her work focuses on the intersection of data privacy, theoretical computer science and the implications of privacy technology on society. Her work has produced efficient differentially private algorithms for fundamental problems such as clustering, moment estimation and graph analysis. She is also involved in interdisciplinary research projects with legal scholars and social scientists regarding how privacy technologies can potentially cause unintended harm to vulnerable populations.
