Shakti Robbins-Cubas
Shakti Robbins-Cubas is a Senior Housing Policy Analyst at the New York Housing Conference where she leads advocacy and analysis on federal and state issues and manages NYHC’s young professional’s organization, the Rising Leaders Network. She previously served as the Director of Policy and Advocacy for State Senator Velmanette Montgomery where she worked on issues around affordable homeownership, deed theft, maritime education, criminal justice reform and opportunities for out of school and out of work young adults.
Shakti holds a B.S. in Political Science from CUNY Brooklyn College and a M.S. in Public and Urban Policy, from The New School with a concentration on housing and community development.
