Sarah Coefield has more than a decade of experience in wildland fire smoke management and communication. As an air quality specialist for Missoula Public Health, she issued wildfire smoke forecasts and health advisories, regulated debris burning and prescribed fire, and worked with nonprofit, government and research partners to grow smoke preparedness in her community.
