Luba Nisenbaum
Luba Nisenbaum, DO is an emergency physician in New York City whose interest in climate medicine grew from years on the front lines of humanitarian response. While working with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières – USA, she cared for patients during refugee crises, infectious disease outbreaks, and natural disasters. Over time, she saw a clear pattern: heat, drought, displacement, food insecurity, and extreme weather were increasingly driving the health emergencies she was treating.
