Gizem Templeton

Gizem Templeton is a Food Systems Impact Fellow with the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service in the Transportation and Marketing Program. Before joining FAS, she was a researcher at Duke University’s World Food Policy Center, where she focused on farm-to-institution programs, hunger relief, and early childhood nutrition. Passionate about strengthening local and regional food systems, she holds a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a degree in engineering from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Türkiye.
