
Gini Knight is the Southeast Regional Coordinator Impact Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists. With decades of leadership, communications, and team management experience, she prioritizes innovative approaches and collective strategy to drive meaningful change.
She holds a BFA in Scientific Illustration and an MS in Conservation Biology. With a deep-rooted passion for community well-being, Gini founded and managed a certified organic vegetable farm, supplying both direct-to-consumer and retail markets.
Gini has collaborated with and worked for numerous nonprofits, as well as state and federal agencies, leveraging her expertise in facilitation, strategic partnerships, and organizational development. Her work advances initiatives in community and economic development, food policy, and coalition building.
She is dedicated to fostering collaboration that helps farmers build viable livelihoods and supports the long-term prosperity of rural communities.
