Cristina Velasquez is a Senior Associate with the Technology & Innovation team. Prior to joining FAS, Cristina was a middle school teacher in DC Public Schools where she began her career as a Teach for America Corps Member. Her previous experience includes political communications with SKDKnickerbocker and legislative affairs with United We Dream. Cristina is originally from Venezuela and grew up in Miami, Florida. She has a B.S. in International Politics from Georgetown University.
