Ayo Olagoke, PhD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in Population Health at the University of Kansas Medical Center and the Director of the Health Communication Solutions Lab, where she leads the development of technology-driven, AI-enabled tools to improve patient education and what she terms precision health communication. Her work focuses on designing and testing human-centered web applications, multimedia resources, and AI-powered prototypes that support clearer, more equitable patient–physician interactions. With formal training in public health and advanced training in AI product design and rapid prototyping through Stanford School of Engineering, she bridges patient insight with innovation. Her research examines how AI can responsibly enhance patient communication, reduce misinformation, and support precision health education. She brings both a systems-level and design-oriented perspective to conversations about AI in clinical practice.
