Sachi Barnaby is a Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellow for the Nuclear Information Project at the Federation of American Scientists. Sachi completed her MS in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico. During her master’s, she was a Responsive and Resilient AI for Autonomous Systems (RAISE) Fellow and conducted research at the Moses Biological Computation Laboratory on the sycophancy of Large Language Models. Sachi earned her BS in Computer Science and BA in Honors Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of New Mexico. She also enjoys playing the oboe!
