Dan Anafi

Dan Anafi is an AI/ML Engineering Director Impact Fellow at FAS and a NobleReach Scholar, placed with the Maryland DoIT AI Innovation Lab. His background spans physics, biotechnology, software engineering, and data science, including nearly a decade as a biophysicist at Amgen, then software engineering at AWS. He holds graduate degrees in computer science and data science from the University of Pennsylvania, where he serves as an award-winning Head TA for Penn’s graduate AI course.
