Lijun Chen

Dr. Lijun Chen joins FAS as an Impact Fellow supporting federal agencies’ efficient use of data for human services emergency preparedness and response. He has extensive experience conducting policy research and management consulting to improve the well-being of vulnerable children and their families. He adopts advanced modeling and analytics tools to analyze survey and administrative data from federal and state agencies to generate evidence. His research findings have helped inform policy and practice in improving the performance of child welfare agencies and providers to deliver quality services. Lijun holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Chicago and M.A. in English literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
