Joshua Porterfield

Joshua Porterfield is the Critical and Emerging Technologies Impact Fellow in the Office of the Undersecretary for Science and Innovation at the Department of Energy. Most recently, he employed his near decade of experience in critical technology and engineering as a AAAS Fellow at the National Nanotechnology Coordination Office. Previously, he led the Pandemic Data Initiative at the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center. His PhD is in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
