Ian P. Moloney is the Head of Policy and Regulatory Affairs at Cross River. He joined Cross River in April 2022. He is responsible for leading the bank’s regulatory strategy, focusing on fintech and cryptocurrency regulations, and representing the bank as a regulatory expert to direct Cross River’s public policy objectives and positions to engage effectively with key federal and state regulators and policymakers. Prior to Cross River, Ian was with the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) in Washington D.C. as a Senior Analyst of Financial Markets & Community Investment. He has been involved in the fintech space since 2017 and has published multiple reports on fintech topics, both domestically and internally. Ian has also worked with the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance on three regional reports on fintech regulation and the United Nations on a blockchain feasibility whitepaper. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, History and Philosophy with an Ethics Minor. Ian also has a Global MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
