Advocating for federal investments in research-based innovations in education that advance student equity and expand opportunities in a competitive world.

Recent NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress) results show the largest drop in reading scores since 1990 and first-ever decline in math scores – the culmination of a system not working for students exacerbated by a global pandemic. To change the course and do well by our students, the Alliance for Learning Innovation Coalition brings together education stakeholders to find transformative new approaches to K-12 education, to advocate for research-based innovation in education, and to leverage federal investments in education R&D.
