Shefali Juneja Lakhina
Shefali Juneja Lakhina is cofounder of Wonder Labs, a climate justice-focused think-and-do-tank based in California. Through the Reimagining 2025: Living with Fire Design Challenge, Shefali currently leads Wonder Labs’ efforts to reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfire impacts on marginalized populations in caring, equitable, and just ways. Since 2005, she has worked with a range of United Nations agencies to deliver innovations in disaster resilience policy, programs, and research across South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, South-East Europe, Australia, and the United States. Shefali holds a PhD in human geography from the University of Wollongong, Australia.
