Jan Jaro is a dual degree MBA/MPA student at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Jan has four years’ experience in consulting and private equity and has spent the last several years in mission-driven startups that expand access to financial services, connect individuals to education and employment, and help companies more accurately measure their carbon footprint. Jan has also been fortunate to serve on the Biden campaign’s higher education policy committee as well as the campaign policy teams of Governors Maura Healey (Massachusetts), Josh Shapiro (Pennsylvania), and Wes Moore (Maryland). He is deeply interested in innovation as a driver of inclusive economic growth and using high-quality training programs and capital deployment to support industry cluster development.
