Dr. Stephen Cutie

Dr. Stephen Cutie is a bioengineer, policymaker, and former CCST science fellow in the office of California Senator Richard Pan. With a research background in heart regeneration and evolutionary biology, he earned his PhD in bioengineering from University of California–San Francisco and University of California, Berkeley. Stephen’s policy work includes designing viral surveillance legislation, health committee policy analysis, and administrative budget negotiations and advising his office on health, housing, human services, environmental, and elections issues.
