Charles Fracchia

Charles Fracchia is the CEO of Black Mesa, a Boston-based stealth-mode company focusing on solving digital biosecurity challenges and improving manufacturing operations security, and cofounder of BIO-ISAC, an international organization that addresses threats unique to the bioeconomy and enables coordination among stakeholders to facilitate a robust and secure industry. Charles was also the founder and CEO of BioBright, the company that created the first—and still only—end-to-end encrypted data collection and analysis system for laboratory and biomanufacturing environments. In 2021, the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency named Charles to its Information Science and Technology Study Group.
