Cate Young is a Science Policy Program Associate at the Federation of American Scientists. Previously, Cate worked on health insurance policy analysis for the Minnesota Department of Commerce where she prioritized equity, accountability, and accessibility. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteer firefighting and being involved in prescribed burning. Cate attained a B.S. in Political Science, Conservation Biology, and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
