Richard Moulange

Richard Moulange is the Senior AI–Biosecurity Fellow at the Centre for Long-Term Resilience and a PhD candidate in biomedical machine learning at the University of Cambridge. He previously completed a Summer Research Fellowship at the Centre for the Governance of AI and was a Technical Governance Research Manager for the ERA:AI Fellowship. While his biosecurity policy work focuses most on the convergence of AI and biotechnology, he provides policy advice across a broad range of both AI and biosecurity topics. His academic research interests include out-of-distribution robustness and causal learning, and he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge.
