Jon Peha
Jon Peha is a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, where he leads a research program on technology policy. He has served at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as Chief Technologist, in the White House as Assistant Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, in industry as Chief Technical Officer of three high-tech start-ups, in the House Energy & Commerce Committee, and at USAID where he ran the Telecommunications Leadership Program. He has been a member of the State Department’s Advisory Committee on International Communications and Information Policy, and the American Library Association’s Board of Advisors.
