Jon Judd

Jon Judd, PhD, is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Engineering Biology Research Consortium where he identifies policy solutions to security and governance issues surrounding emerging biotechnology. Jon earned his Ph.D. in Genetics at Stanford University, where he performed research at the intersection of genetic epidemiology, computational biology, and public health. While serving as President of the Stanford Science Policy Group, Jon has also co-authored work highlighting equity issues in precision medicine and policy solutions to alleviate these issues. As a White House Office of Science and Technology Policy intern, he contributed to the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology Reports on supporting the U.S. public health workforce and reinforcing national cyber-physical resilience.
