Baindu Conté-Harvey is the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at the Federation of American Scientists, bringing more than 20 years of nonprofit finance and operations leadership to the organization. She is known for guiding organizations through periods of growth, complexity, and institutional transition with calm, clarity, and strategic discipline.

Prior to joining FAS, Baindu served as Chief Restructuring Officer at Equal Justice USA, where she led financial and operational restructuring during a period of organizational change. She has also led finance and operations teams at the Middle East Institute, the Interaction Institute for Social Change, and the Community Action Agency of Somerville, building systems that strengthened organizational performance and long-term sustainability.
