Ashley Schimke
Ashley Schimke, RDN has worked with a variety of food system stakeholders and practitioners across federal nutrition security programs for over a decade. Prior to joining FAS as a Food Systems Impact Fellow, Ashley worked with the Arizona Department of Education to build farm-to-school programs, with an emphasis on increasing access to whole, locally sourced foods and implementing scratch-cooked meals. She earned her bachelors degree in Dietetics and minor in business from Arizona State University.
