The NATO C3 Agency, under the sponsorship of SHAPE and with the support of FR, IT, GE, NO, UK and US, has been working over the last several years on establishing ways to make AGS assets interoperate. The ideas developed have been prototyped and tested in the testbed facilities at NC3A. As a final proof of concept, these ideas were recently taken into the field and trialled with real AGS assets provided by the nations.
These efforts have been aimed at both assisting SHAPE in formulating operational concepts and reducing aspects of the risk involved in the procurement of an AGS capability.
