A. Troop Admin is a small office located just aft of the dental
department. Three personnel may work comfortably. This space is
best utilized for taking muster reports and as the Company
Office.

B. Tactical Logistics (TACLOG) is located ajacent to the Combat
Information Center on the 02 level just aft of the bridge.
Remote communication stations from the main transmitter room are
present in TACLOG.

C. Radio Central is located on the 02 level centerline and
provides for the processing of message traffic for both the ship
and embarked units. This is not an embarked space but is
normally shared with embarked communications personnel.

* Embarked Unit communications personnel should make liaison
with the ship’s communications officer as early as possible to
determine availability of equipment/requirements and to develop
procedures to integrate personnel.

D: Troop Armory is a small joint space utilized by both the
ship and embarked units. This space is not adequate for most
embarked unit requirements. Weapons storage must be augmented
through the use of installed rifle racks, 4th deck spaces, or
containers. Recommended stowage for crew served weapons or
COMSEC.
