1.  MISSION.  TO PROVIDE COMMAND, CONTROL, AND COMMUNICATIONS
(C3); STAFF TRANSPORT AND LIAISON; AND LIMITED AIR MOVEMENT
FLIGHTS FOR THE CORPS.

2.  ASSIGNMENT.  ORGANIC TO A CORPS AVIATION GROUP, TOE
01410A.

3.  CAPABILITIES.

    A.  AT LEVEL 1, THIS UNIT PROVIDES:

        (1)  UH-60A/L AIRCRAFT TO PERFORM FLIGHTS FOR COMMAND
AND CONTROL, STAFF TRANSPORT, LIAISON, AIR MESSENGER SERVICE,
AND RADIO RELAY OPERATIONS.

        (2)  FOUR TO SIX HOURS OF ON-STATION TIME PER C3
AIRCRAFT WITH THE EXTENDED RANGE FUEL SYSTEM (ERFS) INSTALLED.

        (3)  C3 AIRCRAFT CONSOLES FOR GROUND BASED OPERATIONS.

        (4)  AIRCRAFT FOR RESTORATION OFCOPRS LINES OF
COMMUNICATION, AERIAL RADIOLOGICAL SURVEYS, AND SEARCH AND
RESCUE OF DOWNED AIRCREWS.

        (5)  UH-60A/L AIRCRAFT FOR AUGMENTATIVE AIR AMBULANCE
SUPPORT WHEN MEDICAL AIRCRAFT ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE.

        (6)  UH-60A/L AIRCRAFT FOR AIR ASSAULT OPERATIONS ONLY
WHEN REQUIRED BY TACTICAL EXIGENCIES.

        (8)  CONTINUOUS DAY AND NIGHT OPERATION DURING VISUAL
AND MARGINAL WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LIMITED OPERATIONS UNDER
INSTRUMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS.

        (9)  UNIT LEVEL PERSONNEL SERVICE SUPPORT, INCLUDING
PERSONNEL, LEGAL, ADMINISTRATIVE, HEALTH, AND RELIGIOUS
SERVICES FOR ALL ORGANIC OR ATTACHED UNITS.

        (10)  UNIT LEVEL LOGISTICAL SUPPORT, INCLUDING SUPPLY,
AUTOMOTIVE AND COMMUNICATIONS MAINTENANCE, AND FOOD SERVICE
FOR ALL ORGANIC OR ATTACHED UNITS.

        (11)  UNIT LEVEL FOOD SERVICE SUPPORT FOR THE
HEADQUARTERS AND HEADQUARTERS COMPANY, CORPS AVIATION GROUP,
TOE 01412A000 (THE SERVICED UNIT PROVIDES ONE COOK TO AUGMENT
EXISTING BATTALION ASSETS).

        (12)  AVIATION UNIT MAINTENANCE (AVUM) FOR 24 ORGANIC
UH-60A/L AIRCRAFT.

    B.  THE COLUMNS UNDER LEVELS 2 AND 3 ADAPT THIS TABLE OF
ORGANIZATION AND EQUIPMENT FOR REDUCED OPERATIONAL
CAPABILITIES IN DECREMENTS OF 10%, FROM APPROXIMATELY 90% FOR
LEVEL 2 TO APPROXIMATELY 80% FOR LEVEL 3.

    C.  THIS UNIT IS NOT ADAPTABLE TO TYPE B ORGANIZATIONS.

    D.  THE COLUMNS DESIGNATED BY LEVELS 1 THROUGH 3 ARE
DESIGNED TO RELATE CATEGORIES ESTABLISHED IN AR 220-1, UNIT
STATUS REPORTING.

    E.  INDIVIDUALS OF THIS ORGANIZATION, EXCEPT THE CHAPLAIN
& MEDICAL PERSONNEL, CAN ASSIST IN THE COORDINATED DEFENSE OF
THE UNIT'S AREA OR INSTALLATION.

    F.  THIS UNIT IS DEPENDENT UPON:

        (1)  APPROPRIATE ELEMENTS OF THE CORPS OR THEATER ARMY
FOR LEGAL, FINANCE, SUPPLEMENTAL TRANSPORTATION, AND
LOGISTICAL SUPPORT.

        (2)  U.S. AIR FORCE WEATHER SUPPORT IN THE
HEADQUARTERS AND HEADQUARTERS COMPANY OF THE CORPS AVIATION
GROUP, TOE 01412A000, FOR AIR WEATHER SERVICE SUPPORT IN
ACCORDANCE WITH AR 115-10/AFR 105-3 AND FM 34-81/AFM 105-4.

4.  BASIS OF ALLOCATION.  ONE PER CORPS AVIATION GROUP, TOE

5.  CATEGORY.  THIS UNIT IS DESIGNATED A CATEGORY II UNIT.
