94TH INTELLIGENCE SQUADRON


1. Mission.

The 94th Intelligence Squadron (94 IS) is an operational component of the 694th Intelligence Group (694 IG), executing decisive information operations that shape the battlespace environment. The squadron is specialized and consists of teams of intelligence professionals operating the Consolidated Remote Operations Facility, Airborne (CROFA) to provide tactical and strategic information to theater commanders and National Command Authorities, and managing nearly one fourth of the Air Intelligence Agency (AIA) Tactical Intelligence (P-2) Program. It ensures the personnel are trained and equipped to respond to Air Force contingency requirements. Specific mission responsibilities are detailed in USSID 3564, AIA CROFA CONOP, and the 67th Intelligence Wing (67 IW) concept of operations for Air Force tactical forces contingency manning.

2. Command.

The 94 IS Commander (94 IS/CC):

2.1. Is subordinate to the 694 IG Commander (694 IG/CC).

2.2. Executes AIA's responsibility to control CROFA operations.

2.3. Exercises command and control of the 694 IG personnel dispersed within the squadron.

3. Responsibilities.

The 94 IS/CC:

3.1. Influences the collection analysis, production, and intelligence activity within National Security Agency (NSA).

3.2. Operates, maintains, and controls assigned resources and facilities required to fulfill the 94 IS cryptologic mission.

3.3. Is authorized direct liaison with NSA elements to facilitate mission accomplishment.

3.4. On order, provides 94 IS personnel to other combatant and support commanders.

3.5. Ensures 94 IS US Air Force Reserve/Individual Mobilization Augmentee personnel are operationally ready.

3.6. Executes duties as necessary or as directed from higher headquarters.
