FLEET SUPPORT DEPARTMENT

The NSGA Medina Fleet Support Department's mission is to provide cryptologic support to Fleet units in our area of responsibility and act as a communications link between the Fleet and agencies outside the Department of Defense. We provide technical information during pre-deployment training and answer requests for information while units are at sea. Additionally, Fleet Support Department personnel maintain the command's automated information systems. Finally, Fleet Support personnel augment selected units as directed by higher authority.
