Andrew Choi is a Senior Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists serving in the Office of the President at the World Bank, working on its Famine Action Mechanism (FAM) program to better predict global crises and provide aid faster and more efficiently. Prior to joining, he was the CTO and co-founder of Predata, a machine learning and AI startup that built a predictive analytics platform for geopolitical events and risks.
He was also a co-founder of Doceoware, an education software company, where he built server side systems for massively online open courses. Prior to that, he was on the investment team at Insight Venture Partners, a New York-based growth equity firm focused on software.
Andrew holds a BSE from Princeton University in Operations Research and Financial Engineering.
