Notes:

JTF-CS’s mission is to respond to and provide consequence management in the event of a terrorist incident only. This command and control structure applies only to this situation.

There are two RTFs, one East and one West under 1st and 5th Armies respectively. The RTFs would serve as the ARFOR HQ.

Although not depicted on this slide, other services may be attached to JTF-CS.

The DCO is appointed by the CINC and usually comes from the Regional Training Brigades (RTBs).
