Parsons has over 50 years of experience in engineering services with over 8,000 employees worldwide. That work covers 2,400 clients and 8,000 projects. In addition to being one of the largest firms in the engineering construction industry. Engineering News-Record has ranked Parsons as the No. 1 U.S. Design Firm for both 1995 and 1996.
Parsons has performed laser facility and support equipment engineering design for many firms including: Rockwell/Rocketdyne, TRW, LLNL, AVCO Everett Research Laboratory, Barry Controls, and Lockheed Missiles & Space Company, Programs involved COIL and FEL. These projects, such as the ALPHA Laser Test Facility, include process equipment, vacuum manifolding and ductwork, process piping, site development and facility modifications.
Parsons has 35 years experience in developing more than 400 airports. Those projects included airfield pavements, terminals, and landside facilities. The 16 current projects include U.S. airports like Baltimore/Washingon, Dulles, Washington National, Boston Logan, San Francisco, San Diego, and Dallas/Ft Worth. Parsons has 400 personnel in aviation project field offices.
